When your kitten hits six weeks of age, they will need calicivirus, Panleukopenia and Herpesvirus. For the booster, it should be given every three to four weeks until the kitten has reached twelve weeks of age. After this, it will need to be given every three years. The cat should get the rabies shot when they are at three months and the booster should be at one year of age.

Vaccinations for Lyme’s disease wasn’t always part of the core vaccination schedule for pets. This disease is transmitted by ticks and caused by Borrelia burgdorferi, a bacterium found inside some ticks. The occurrence of this disease has been increasing, due to the growing range of the ticks carrying the disease.

Preventing a disease from occurring in a beloved pet can be less costly than hoping a disease won’t occur. It may cost around one hundred for vaccinations, but it might be over thousands of dollars if a disease is to afflict a dog or cat.
